Commission - Terms of service

  1. The Client (you) must agree fully with the terms displayed here in order to access to this service.

  2. The Artist (me) retains all the rights to fully display, make merchandise/prints of, and modify all artwork.

  3. The Client retains the rights to their respective characters, if any.

  4. Concise and clear visual reference MUST be provided by the Client along with a description and additional pertinent information of the desired artwork.

  5. The Artist WILL NOT handle depictions of extreme violence, homophobia, transphobia and the like, xenophobia, antisemitism, ableism, bigotry, pedophilia or other illegal activities in the artwork. Sexual content, gore, certain fetishes, ideologically sensitive material, and the like will be considered on a case-to-case basis.

  6. Alteration of the artwork itself by the client is not allowed except for personal use or exhibition purposes. Any use of said artwork in public requires the Client to properly credit the Artist.

  7. The signature is an exceptional exception to rule 6 and UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES may be removed.

  8. All communication between the Client and the Artist must be private, and kept within one service.

  9. The Client may be informed about the status of their commission upon request at any time.

  10. Detailed/complex commissions will require the Client to preview a WIP sketch in order to provide critique, corrections and alterations if necessary.

  11. The Artist reserves the right to decline critique or corrections regarding stylistic choices if said critique or correction is detrimental to the final artistic value of the artwork.

  12. The Client will receive a watermarked, low-res preview of the artwork before the payment is sent. No corrections are allowed at this stage unless extremely necessary.

  13. The Client will receive a finished, un-watermarked, hi-res file once the payment has been received and NOT before.

  14. The Client has the right to cancel a commission at any time. No file will be delivered in this case.

  15. The Artist reserves the right to delay or cancel the production of the artwork altogether. Proper justification will be provided.

  16. The artist reserves the right to cancel the production due to rude or inappropriate behavior, poor communication, et cetera.

  17. The terms displayed here are subject to change at any time. New terms may also be created.
